Volunteer Opportunities

Developing relationships with current supporters, who have a vested interest in the school’s success, and those who have an interest in HFCS, is critical to the long term viability of our school. These supporters generously give of time, talent, and treasure. These gifts have the added benefit of strengthening our school’s community.

Time: Each year, school families are asked to volunteer a great deal of time to the school. In the 2003-04 school year, families volunteered close to 12,000 volunteer hours. These volunteer hours help the school to maximize the use of its faculty and staff, and offset high overhead costs. Additionally, strong volunteer support positions the school favorably for grant opportunities. Grandparents, extended family, and parishioners are welcome and encouraged to be involved at the school.

Talent: HFCS is blessed with talented and skilled supporters. Volunteers help in countless ways to make the school run smoothly, including events, technology, classroom, lunchroom and library support, among a myriad of other ways.
