Holy Family Catholic School

Enrollment Information

Holy Family Catholic School exists primarily to educate those children whose families are committed to Christ-centered education through the Catholic faith tradition. Holy Family welcomes children in grades Pre-K through 8. We are pleased that Holy Family is a Catholic school for all children, not a school for just Catholic children. Enrollment is established as class size permits, and according to the registration considerations listed below. An inquiry list will be established when classes are filled.

Admission of a new student may involve a personal interview with the child, as well as a review of prior school records. In the case of home school students, an entrance test will be required prior to admission.

Holy Family Catholic School currently has one or more openings in Grades PK, K, 2nd-8th.  For grade level availability, contact the school office via email at info@hfcs.net or call the school office at (208) 765-4327.

Registration:  Consideration for registration at Holy Family Catholic School is dependent on completion of a registration packet (including all fees) by the requested due date, and the following (in this order):

  1. Siblings of current students
  2. Active supporting parishioners of one of our 3 local parishes (as evidenced by the signature of your parish priest on the signed Spiritual Outline)
  3. Commitment to HFCS and your child's education as expressed by you in your registration packet
  4. The date you first contacted HFCS

Subsequent Years:  Registration for subsequent years will be dependent on the above criteria, as well as the fulfillment of promises made in the Parental Covenant (meeting stewardship commitment, volunteer hours, and fair share tuition).

A child entering pre-kindergarten must be four years of age on or before August 31st; a child entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 31st of that school year. A student entering first grade must be six years of age on or before August 31st of that school year.

The principal may remove a child from enrollment at Holy Family if it is determined that the school program is unable to meet a child's educational or developmental needs, or for disciplinary purposes.
